The Shero Mindset

What made this book possible? It was a combination of factors: my studies, my dedication to learning, my training with the power of Positive Psychology, and my meditation practice.

This book crystallized into a platform for presenting seven inspirational stories. I was able to spend wonderful quality time with my heroes: Julia, Evonn, Holly, Suzy, Alexia and Didi – talking, sharing, crying and laughing. What we experienced was intense, sincere and magical. Listening to them and processing their stories was a gift, and revisiting my past was healing. This process was genuine and sacred.

My Story

Lulu’s Freedom was born out of her childhood – being raised in Brazil, a country of contrasts along with divorce, childhood sexual abuse, and addiction with her Father.  Lulu found her first freedom through dance which helped her cope with depression, severe anxiety and an eating disorder. Another layer of freedom came with the discovery of art and immersing herself using her creative strengths. Lulu’s sequence of seven angels that she drew became an important anchor for coping and perhaps, an earlier form of todays’ book, Sheroes. Lulu’s stories are about overcoming pain, fear, abuse through creative arts in a strong spiritual context of love and hope. Lulu’s is a light seeker, and she persists toward a celestial perspective that is surrounded in love.
